General Abilities:
Sanity: Throughout the fight you will lose sanity. You will have an extra action bar to regain 80% of your sanity back. You'll only be able to use this ability once every 3 min. If you hit zero sanity you will get 100% increased damage for 20 sec, however you will be mind controlled after this ends and need to be interrupted. Phase One: Note - Boss will send out a wave on pull stunning you while pulling you into the phase so don't pop you stuff right away. Also when you get pulled down a copy is made of you where you were standing on pull. When you kill the add below you need to run back to your body to come back up Psychus (Mini-boss): 1) The boss will periodically leave pools under him that you need to move out of as you kite him around the room. If you stand in this you will lose sanity and take a lot of damage 2) Killing an exposed synapse within 8 yards of Psychus will make him take 50% more damage from you stacking per eye you kill 3) if he reaches full energy and his casts goes off it's most likely a wipe Mind's Eye: Void Gaze: Periodically drains your sanity over time Exposed Synapse : 1) Killing one heals all the other synapses so they can't be mass aoe'd down Probe Mind: Randomly chooses players to drain health from. This ability can chain to players in 5 yards of you so stay spread out Phase Two (coming back up): Mindgrasp: This will either pull you to the boss or away from him. So position your self where you won't get knocked off the edge or thrown into the boss. Also position yourself away from the neuron's Corrupted Neurons: Damaging these reduces the aoe ring around them. If you get hit by the ring you will take significant damage and lose sanity. Paranoia: Two people will get linked to each other. The farther away you are from your partner the more damage you take (stay within 5 yards). If you touch a non paranoid person you will lose sanity. Mindgate: Circle on the ground that allows player to re-enter the phase one realm. Once you go down you won't be able to go down again. If you go into the bargain phase the more you move the more damage you will take. If you go into the Deathwing one just avoid the shit on the ground Adds up top (2 sets - so split up the raid into groups): Corruptor Tentacle: Interrupt this add and avoid the debris when it dies. Basher Tentacle: One person must be in melee range of this add and when it dies avoid the debris Tentacle Spike: Does aoe damage to the raid, avoid the debris when it dies Phase Three (mindgrasp and paranoia stay): Evoke Anguish (N'Zoth): debuff that does damage over 8 sec. When this expires it will leave a pool. These pools grow every time the boss casts anquish (similar to opulence) and drain your sanity if your in them Stupefying Glare (N'Zoth): Spawns an eye which fires a frontal beam that deals significant damage to anyone in it and fears them Harvest Thoughts (Thought Harvester add): This ability deals fatal damage and 100 sanity split evenly across those in it. If there aren't at least 5 people in it it will drain 50 sanity from everyone in the raid. Have your raid soak this ability to minimize the effects. |
